Before Treatment:
“I had a broken upper incisor tooth that needed fixing, and 4 different
US dentists told me the only course of action was an implant at
between $4,000-$6,000.
I really missed being able to smile without being self conscious about
my missing tooth, but I could not afford this amount
so I just stopped smiling.
I found that people treated me completely differently as I have always
been a happy person.
Why I Looked Abroad:
As a desperate measure I had a single denture made costing $450,
but this broke after 4 months and despite the 6 month guarantee the
dentist refused to make me a new denture to replace it, preferring to
glue the old, super thin one back together again. I refused to accept
this and was rudely refunded and told to go on my way.
That month I contacted Euro Dental Vacations and they arranged for
me to fly to Budapest for one week.
My return flight from Texas was under $500.
After a couple of hours of a shuttle ride to Serbia for my treatment,
I was able to have a 4 tooth bridge made, which replaced 3 of my old
crowns and added a new incisor tooth on the end.
The Result:
It looks amazing and I cannot tell the difference from my original teeth,
neither in looks nor when I eat.
This entire procedure was a one stop shop with a total dental cost of
under $800, instead of around $5,000 and 6 months waiting time
between treatments here in the US.
I can smile again, and do so every time I think of how much money I saved.
